The Christian Family Service Center has resurrected itself -- with a little help from friends -- after the fire that burned down its building in 2016.
Its doors have been open for three weeks. Monday was the grand opening.
Mayor Norm Archibald was present to give a proclamation.
Director Jim Clark wanted to point out that this was all possible through the hand of God.
The new facility is 900 square feet and is located at 3185 North 10th Street.
“Those who want to find jobs, who want to better their lives – we’re not a job agency, but we know a lot of agencies in town that they can send representatives here, and we have some rooms where they can do some training, inform people,” Clark said.
