Abilene police arrested 31-year-old Jeremy Fuller just before 2 p.m. on Aug. 16. for a robbery at a north Abilene story and robbing another, just hours apart, according to Abilene police press release.
On Wednesday Aug. 16 at 10:42 a.m., a robbery occurred at a store located on the 3300 block of N. 10th St. The clerk said the suspect asked him to move in closer when talking and that's when Fuller allegedly displayed a knife and demanded money.
The clerk then ran out of the store with the suspect. The suspect left and no money was reported to be taken.
At 12:25 p.m. a store clerk on the 2100 block of S. 20th St. called police saying he was robbed. The suspect was described to be similar to the suspect with the knife. The suspect fled the store with an undisclosed amount of money.
Within the investigation, police saw a vehicle that possibly belonged to the suspect at a northeast Abilene home. The suspect was eventually captured after leaving the area and evading his vehicle.
Fuller has been charged with second degree aggravated robbery, third degree evading arrest enhanced, due to prior convictions.
Fuller is at Taylor County Jail with a bond set at $85,000.
