Congressman Jodey Arrington spoke at the Abilene Convention Center discussing topics ranging from taxes and agriculture. But the most prominent topics discussed were D.A.C.A. and healthcare.
During this interactive discussion, residents who attended wanted to know if D.A.C.A. recipients would be deported and what the process would be for the children brought to the U.S. of no fault of their own.
Arrington said, "We've got to deal with this in a way that's not only compassionate to the D.A.C.A. recipients but compassionate to the families that are standing in line, those that have waited in line to become citizens."
Arrington said he was very pleased with the turnout of the forum and was thankful everyone was respectful.
