At the West Texas Fair and Rodeo, they are doing a brand new contests to see who can cook the best fried food, they're calling it the "Step Aside Fried" contest.

Dozens of vendors submitted entries cooking anything from brisket stuff potatoes to cheesecake-on a-stick.

One contestant, Sally Mullins said, "We've always done barbeque. I think they're all good. Actually, he cooks the brisket at least 24 hours on the pit."
