The City of Bangs is notifying all consumers to boil their water prior to consumption. This warning is to ensure all harmful bacteria and other microbes are destroyed.
Water should be boiled for drinking, cooking and for making ice. "The water should be brought to a vigorous, rolling boil and then boiled for two minutes," according to the City of Bangs. The City also suggests purchasing bottled water.
When this process is no longer necessary, water system officials will notify consumers that the water is safe.
