The Texas Department of Transportation is hosting a public meeting to inform citizens about a possible project to add a grade separation at the intersection of U.S. 277 and FM 3034.
During this meeting, citizens may come and go at their convenience, and staff will be available to answer questions.
According to a press release, "TxDOT, in conjunction with the Abilene MPO, has identified the intersection at U.S. 277 and FM 3034 as a priority for safety improvements. As part of the overall plan to improve safety and operation of the corridor, a proposed grade separation will serve to enhance the movement of traffic at the intersection of FM 3034."
The meeting will be on Tuesday, Aug. 29 at TxDOT Abilene District Headquarters, located on 4250 N. Clack St. from 4 to 7 p.m.
