If you’ve driven by an Abilene gas station you may have noticed long lines or none at all.

Abilene drivers said they were concerned about gas.

Drivers said yellow bags and long lines at pumps sparked concern.

Gas prices in Abilene seemed to rise overnight.

One driver said, “this morning i saw a gas station go from, you know, $2.25 to $2.32.”

Nearly half of abilene gas stations told Fox 15 they were nearly out of gas by 4pm Thursday.

The Texas Railroad Comissioner said this is not a result of Hurricane Harvey.

An economist said gas prices will rise as a result of the hurricane; however it's a "self-fulfililng prophecy."
