LuLaRoe Retailer Offends People with Down Syndrome

A popular consignment shop receives backlash for comments about Down Syndrome.

ABILENE, TX - A LuLaRoe retailer offended people with down syndrome during a live stream video to sell his products. He mocked those with down syndrome and acted as if he did have down syndrome. The National Down Syndrome Society saw this and requested LuLaRoe terminate their contract with the retailer.

LuLaRoe responded to this video saying the video was “insensitive and unacceptable,” however, they would not terminate their contract with the retailer. According to LuLaRoe, the company did not want to take away the retailer’s means to provide for his family.

The National Down Syndrome Society ended their relationship with LuLaRoe because of this and people all over social media supported that decision.
