NEW YORK CITY - The 9/11 tribute memorial in New York City will now enjoy a new location.
The memorial will reopen in another spot in lower Manhattan, three times the size of its former locale and featuring many new exhibits.
The tribute museum was created by those who lost loved ones during the horrific terror attack.
The space will come complete with their personal stories, artifacts and pictures.
“So, our belief is that by understanding what happened yesterday, we can make tomorrow better,” Lee Ielpi, co-founder of the museum who lost his son on 9/11, said.
The 9/11 tribute museum is separate from the National September 11 Memorial & Museum, just a few blocks away.
