ABILENE, TX - You usually here the line "and they're off,” at a horse race.
Thursday, it was used a little differently at the West Texas Fair And Rodeo.
Pigs took to the race track.
A crowd watched them race to an Oreo cookie at the end of the track.
The managers of the race say training the young pigs takes about 10 minutes a day and they sleep for 23 hours.
It's been going to the fair over 15 years.
Fair goers seemed to enjoy it.
"They're so little, I mean they'll fit in two hands, right there. They're so cute,” said Tommie Smith.
