Abbott announced that all Texas State Parks are open for Harvey evacuees

Gov. Greg Abbott announced that all Texas State Parks will house Harvey evacuees for free.

ABILENE, TX - Governor Greg Abbott announced on Aug. 30 that Harvey evacuees will be able to stay in the Texas State Parks, for free. 

His decision will allow those displaced by the hurricane, a safe place to stay.

Over thirty state parks are now open all over Texas to take in those who need it.
