Deceased Dyess Airman identified

DYESS AIR FORCE BASE, Texas - Senior Airman Jonathan O’Neal, 7th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, was found dead in his off base residence approximately 8 a.m. yesterday morning.

O’Neal was an Assistant Dedicated Crew Chief on the B-1B Lancer. He joined the Air Force in August 2014 and arrived at Dyess Air Force Base in January 2015.

"Above all else, the entire squadron wishes to extend our deepest condolences to Jonathan’s family, friends, and teammates,” said, Lt. Col. Jon Izworski, 7th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron commander. "This loss is shared not only with the Airmen of the 7th AMXS, but also Team Dyess and the Abilene community as a whole."

Base support services are engaging with the unit and are available to all of Team Dyess.
