Ender Freeman's hard count is causing headaches for defenses

The Cougars have been difficult to defend through the air, on the ground and now with their voices. Quarterback Ender Freeman's snap calls are gifting touchdowns to Cooper.

ABILENE, TX - NOW THE COOPER OFFENSE HAS FOUND NEW WAYS THROUGHOUT THE SEASON TO DOMINATE. WE'VE TALKED ALL SEASON LONG ABOUT HOW DIFFERENT ROLE PLAYERS HAVE MADE THE UNIT MORE DANGEROUS. NOW IT'S QB ENDER FREEMAN'S VOICE THAT IS MAKING THE DIFFERENCE.

OVER THE PAST COUPLE OF WEEKS, THE SENIOR'S CADENCE HAS CAUSED COUNTLESS DEFENDERS TO JUMP OFFSIDES. WHICH HAS GIVEN THEM THE OPPORTUNITY TO TAKE A SHOT DEEP WHEN THIS HAPPENS BECAUSE THEY'RE GETTING A PENALTY ANYWAY. THE COOGS HAVE BEEN CONVERTING THOSE FREE PLAYS INTO TOUCHDOWNS. SO IT HAS ADDED ANOTHER ELEMENT TO THEIR POTENT ATTACK.

"WE GET FORTUNATE ENOUGH AND ARE ABLE TO DRAW THEM OFF, THEN WE GET A CHANCE TO GET A FREE PLAY AND WE'VE BEEN ABLE TO MAXIMIZE OUR OPPORTUNITIES IN THAT." Todd Moebes, Cooper Head Coach said. "IT'S PRETTY EASY TO DO YOU SNAP IT AND YOU THROW IT TO THE TALL GUY OUTSIDE. IT'S PRETTY EASY."

NOW COOPER IS GOING TO NEED THAT COMPETITIVE EDGE AGAINST THEIR NEXT OPPONENT. THE COOGS ARE PLAYING UNDEFEATED ALEDO ON FRIDAY.
