Fox Means Business: 5/19

Today's business headlines.

A bit of a rebound on Wall Street: the Dow was up 56 points on Thursday, picking up some of the pieces after Wednesday’s 373-point drop.

Meantime, mortgage rates dropped a bit. The average for a 30-year fixed-rate mortgage is now at 4.02 percent. Keep in mind, rates were around 3.6 percent this time last year.

Point, click and shop at Walmart. The retail giant reported higher-than-expected sales during the first three months of the year. The main reason? A 63 percent boost in online shopping.

And a new street for Sesame Street. Amusement park company SeaWorld Entertainment will open a second theme park based on the iconic kids’ show Sesame Street. It already has one in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. No word yet on where Bert and Ernie will get their new digs.
