Point, click, shop for groceries. Amazon is buying Whole Foods for nearly $14 billion. The online giant continues to expand its grocery business. Both stocks were higher on Friday. The deal is expected to close in the second half of the year.

The national average for regular unleaded gas dropped gain. A gallon will cost you $2.31.

And you’re probably seeing fewer construction crews working in the neighborhood. New home construction fell in May for the third straight month. Permits for future building projects also tumbled.

According to a survey from Capital One, there out of 10 dads wanted a gift card for Father’s Day. And get this: dads aren’t that into gadgets this year.
