Star Trek’s return, Snoop goes Wild and Soundgarden loses its voice in the Hollywood Nation.

Iconic rocker Chris Cornell was found dead in his hotel room after performing a tour date in Detroit on Wednesday night. According to TMZ, authorities are claiming apparent suicide as cause of death. The late Soundgarden and Audioslave frontman was a pioneer of the 1990s Seattle grunge scene. He was 52-years-old.

Unlikely costars Daniel Radcliffe and Owen Wilson are teaming up for TV. The pair have signed on for the Heaven-set comedy series Miracle Workers, produced by Saturday Night Live's head honcho Lorne Michaels.

Snoop Dogg is getting into the game show biz. The famed rapper is set to exec-produce and host a revival of the classic 1970s slot machine series Jokers Wild.

The Late Late Show’s James Corden has been tapped to host the Grammys for a second straight year. CBS announced on Wednesday that Corden will emcee the 2018 ceremony, celebrating the award show’s sixtieth anniversary.

And a first look at the much-anticipated Star Trek prequel, Star Trek: Discovery, hit the web on Wednesday. The beloved sci-fi franchise makes its first small screen return in more than a decade this fall.
