Lady Pirates taking lessons from loss to May

After a tough loss to May, Eula has some areas to improve. Competing with the likes of May does allow the Lady Pirates a chance to see where they need to improve.

EULA, TX - The Eula Lady Pirates had a tough game against May last night.

It was a close one. The 7th ranked squad couldn't overcome May in a 44-40 loss.

That means the push for a district title just got a little bit more challenging for Eula.

But these types of games against tough teams are teaching them invaluable lessons for the future.

“We just have to take it one game at a time.” Jamie Masonheimer, Eula girls head coach. “Every game is going to be close. We split with May. That's just a game that always comes down to the wire. We'll have to take care of business.”

The Lady Pirates still have district games over the horizon.
Their next one comes at Santa Anna on Friday.
