RUNNELS COUNTY, TX - A Ballinger man led police on a 20 minute high-speed chase after the Miles Police Department was notified of a stolen vehicle.
Police chased 23-year-old Mason Jean to San Angelo on Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2017. Jean was reportedly traveling at 100 miles per hour at times.
Miles police informed Tom Green County Sheriffs about Jean approaching San Angelo territory. At that time, Tom Green sheriffs set out spikes, but the driver avoided the trap.
Eventually, Jean found himself in San Angelo trapped between law enforcement with no where to go. Jean then surrendered without incident and was arrested.
Jean was booked in Runnels County Jail with a $20,000 bond.
