Update on crime in Alameda neighborhood

ABILENE, TX - A new watch program was talked about in the Alameda neighborhood Tuesday, Sept. 11 to help cut down crime in the area. 

Records from Abilene's municipal court counted 79 cases of criminal activity since September 2016. According to the Lexis Nexis crime map, those cases range from burglary, theft, aggravated assault and deadly conduct. 

Out of the nine streets that make up the Alameda neighborhood, Aztec Dr., had no cases of criminal activity since September 2016.
