A news conference was held regarding death threats made at Congressman Al Green after he called for the impeachment of President Trump.
Rep. Green received a voicemail in which death threats were made against him for suggesting that the president should be taken out of office.
Community activist Deric Muhammad says that community leaders joined together on Thursday to express solidarity and support.
“Whether you agree with his call for an impeachment of the president or not, I think we all can agree that he does have the right to do so,” Muhammad said.
The caller apparently left several voicemails for Rep. Green including the one threatening his life.
