The West Texas Book Festival asks the community to submit local authors

The West Texas Book Festival is on Sept. 21 through the 23, but future attendees can look forward to the festival preview on Sept 17.

ABILENE, TX - The West Texas Book Festival is on Sept. 21 through the 23, but in the meantime, the community is being asked to submit local authors who can be featured at the event. Also, there will be a festival preview on Sept. 17.  

At the festival preview session, authors be able to interact with festival attendees. Authors book's have to have been published within the last 12 months. 

According to the City of Abilene's website, this event is a celebration of authors and books in Abilene and is meant to connect the community with a host of literary activities. This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Library and the Abilene Reporter-News.
