ABILENE, TX - Lots of people are still working to come together in a time of disaster.
The Abilene community is sending items down south to Hurricane Harvey victims.
Global Samaritan Resources in Abilene is working with disaster relief partners to help Texans impacted.
McMurry University students and staff along with other volunteers sorted out donated supplies.
Things like diapers and food were donated by Beltway Park Church.
“I think it’s really important that we roll up our sleeves, and we get involved in any way we can and Global
Samaritans are a great way for us to do that because we know that they are on top of the relief efforts,” volunteer
Nancy Smith said.
