Senora Scott joined the KIDY news team in April of 2014. She is a native Texan (and proud of it) and has always had a history with the West Texas area. Her mother was raised in Sonora (hence the name) and growing up, Senora frequently visited San Angelo. She moved to San Angelo permanently in 2007 to attend Angelo State University where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. Senora has been interested in news since she was young; even performing her own newscasts for her family on Sundays after church at the supper table.

Senora is no stranger to the Concho Valley. She began he career in 2011 at another local television station in San Angelo where she learned how to produce, shoot video, and anchor. She loves being out in the field in the middle of the action and experiencing new things. Some of her favorite aspects of being a reporter are the opportunities to learn something new every day and getting to meet new people.

When she's not working, she enjoys riding horses, dancing, visiting friends, being outdoors, and going to rodeos. Senora hopes to one day be a rodeo correspondent and/or report on issues concerning agriculture.
