On Oct. 17, Troop 103 visited the Eastland Police Department to learn more about fingerprinting. At the conclusion of the class, the scouts earned their fingerprinting merit badge.
During the class, the scouts learned the history behind fingerprints and how to differentiate fingerprints between civilians and criminals.
One Eagle Scout who just started the program said it was an interesting experience and it will help him in the long run.
