ABILENE, Texas — Officers with the Abilene Police Department arrested David Dow, 36, of Abilene Friday after he robbed a south Abilene business.
According to a release from the APD, at 9:11 a.m. Friday, police were called to the area of South 8th and Chestnut streets after an employee of a business located in the 700 block of Chestnut stated they were robbed by a white male wearing a mask.
The employee told police the man demanded money from the business and left the area on foot. During a search of the area, an officer spotted Dow on foot and apprehended him.
Dow has been charged with second degree felony robbery. His arrest was a joint effort with the APD's patrol, Special Operations, Street Crimes and fraud departments.
