We have another update from the City Council of Chambers.
The money you pay to use some Abilene parks may soon change.
This Thursday Abilene City Council will vote to change the entry fee at Adventure Cove.
Adult admission would go from $6.50 to $7.
The City manager says this will help cover costs of the facility that opened last year.
Another change will be a $20 fee for anyone wishing to use electrical outlets in city parks.
Robert Hanna says this will be useful for things like family outings and get togethers.
Robert Hanna said, "It's a park and if it's there I'd like for people to use it, but we still need to recover the costs of the electric they use."
Hanna estimates this will add between $10,000 to $15,000 in revenue.
