ABILENE, TX. — For more than 5 years, books have been donated by the community and then passed along to children, teachers and everyone who is in need of books.

Starting at 8 AM until noon, the Global Samaritan Resource is opening its doors to the community with free books and curriculum.

"If they can use them for their home school...ministries, whatever they have a need for, they can just go ahead and pick up books," says the director of logistics and disaster services, Esther Kissell.

One can find a book for all ages.

"We've kind of maxed out on our space and so we actually have books on pallets in boxes that are going to fill the shelves when they get empty," says Kissell.
