ABILENE, TX. — 2017 West Texas Fair and Rodeo queen, Zena Goodwin, reflects on her journey so far.
Goodwin is from Alvarado, Texas, where learned her true passion, horses. At age 21, she decided to compete in a local pageant.
She continued her pageant journey and won her third title of West Texas Fair and Rodeo queen.
Goodwin showcased her horsemanship with her three-year-old horse, Baywatch this Friday.
Expecting to graduate this fall from Tarleton State University with a bachelor's in business management, Goodwin hopes to continue with her love of agriculture.
