According to The City of Stamford, the boil water notice has been rescinded as of Oct. 3, 2017 at 10:35 a.m. The City has sent laboratory results to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality that indicate the water no longer requires boiling prior to the use of Oct. 3.
According to the City, "The public water system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore the quality of the water distributed by this public water system used for drinking water of human consumption purposes..."
