Police responded to a call about an armed subject at 1418 S. 2nd St. on Sept. 11, 2017. When police arrived, there were three adult victims and one child victim. They said the gunman, Jesse Felix, had pointed a gun at them inside their home during a verbal altercation.
Felix then fled the scene in his car prior to police arriving.
All three victims said that Felix drove away from the house, stopped, got out of his vehicle and fired his gun one time in the direction of the three adults and child.
According to the police report, all four victims said they were in fear of their lives.
The bullet that was fired, hit a vehicle parked in front of where the four victims were standing. The bullet was lodged into the back door, on the driver's side, shattering the window.
Later, police apprehended the suspect and recovered the handgun he fired.
Felix was charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and was booked in Taylor County Jail on a $5,010 bond.
