Upon Abilene Police Department executing a search warrant, they arrested Arnulfo Narvaez, 30, for possession of marijuana and theft of a firearm.
When police approached the residence, there was a "heavy odor of marijuana," according to the arrest report.
Narvaez was found with approximately 50 grams of marijuana. Forty-two grams of the 50 were found in the common area of the residence.
Also located in the residence, in Narvaez's possession, was a stolen firearm.
On Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2017, Narvaez was arrested and booked into Taylor County Jail with a $7,500 bond.
