ABILENE, TX. — For the first time ever, the National Football League is having males cheering on the sidelines this football season.

Napoleon Jinnies and Quinton Peron made in to the Los Angeles Rams cheer squad, which inspired Jesse Hernandez who is now with the New Orleans Saints.

Locally, male cheerleading coaches continue their passion, keeping in mind the history in the making.

Coaches such as Kale Dunlap from The Flip House, have been tumbling for years.

"The tradition of only girls can cheer on sidelines I love that we're breaking away from that because there are males that want to cheer," says Dunlap.

We will have more of Dunlap's cheerleading journey Friday.
