Abilene Police say they are still sorting through leads in a weekend homicide.

In an interview with Fox 15, Sgt. Lynn Beard said Bronson Boyles was arrested recently.

Beard said he could not comment on whether or not drugs were involved.

According to jail records, Boyles was arrested last week and released the day he was shot.

Yesterday's story:

Two new people have been arrested in connection with the murder of 19-year-old Bronson Boyles.

In a press conference Wednesday, police said witnesses have identified J'Daman West, 19, D'Audre Hight-Ealy and Jerel Mathis to all be at the scene of the murder, at Summerwind Apartments.

Authorities arrested all three suspects Tuesday and their bonds are each set at about $700,000. Police said this might be in connection with a robbery that occurred earlier and possibly drugs.

Police said today the victim was shot once.

Police haven't released what caused the altercation that occurred before the gunshot. This is still an ongoing investigation.
