ABILENE, TX. — Abilene native, made her way back to open up a popcorn store. "I sold my farm and ranch and moved here to Abilene to be close to my two grandchildren," says owner, Nora Carpenter.
A first of its kind in Abilene, and customers have been coming into the store nonstop.
"I'm just humbled and blessed that's the only words I can used to describe it because we've had a great turn out every day we've been opened," says Nora.
The Specialty Popcorn Store had its grand opening last Friday.
