ABILENE, TX — A small plane made an emergency landing at the Abilene Regional Airport on Tuesday.

A spokesperson with the City of Abilene said they received a call at 4:45 that a small airplane was attempting to do an emergency landing at the airport.

The pilot was unable to get the gear down, an instrumental panel appeared to be out.

But after a couple of times circling, the pilot landed safely.

No injuries were reported.

The pilot was the only person on board the plane.

City officials haven’t answered where what caused the plane to do an emergency landing or where the plane was coming from and its original destination.
