STONEWALL COUNTY — Meteorologist Ricky Cody has issued a special weather statement for portions of the Big Country.

There is a WINTER STORM WATCH in effect from late Thursday night through Saturday morning for Stonewall County.

Heavy mixed precipitation is possible with this system. Total snow accumulations of two-six inches and ice accumulations of 1/10 - 1/2 inch are possible.

The watch will affect portions of northwest Texas and the Texas Panhandle.

Power outages and tree damage are possible, depending on accumulations. Driving conditions can become dangerous quickly with ice on the roads.
